San Antón 
This event is celebrated from the evening of 16 to 17 January.
They make bonfires, limoná (lemonade) and the guarrillo (pig) of San Antón is auctioned.

Meetings of Lace Makers

These are held on the second weekend in June.
It is a traditional meeting of lace makers who do artisan lace work including lace trims.

International Classical Theatre Festival  


This event is held in July.
The performances take place on various stages: Corral de Comedias, Claustro de los Dominicos, Hospital de San Juan or the Teatro Municipal.

Feria de San Bartolomé This fair is held from 23 to 28 August.
These are the Patron Saint’s Fairs and Festivals in honour of the patron saint, San Bartolomé.

Virgen de Las Nieves
This is a local festival celebrated on 5 August. The Almagro locals bid farewell to their patron saint, who will spend the summer at Santuario Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, which is 7km from Almagro.
